Much difference between the PC161 and the PC166 Headsets?

May go for the "This week only" Sennheiser PC161 Pro-Gaming Headphones

But would I notice any quality difference sound wise if I spent the extra and went for the Sennheiser PC166 Pro-Gaming USB??

I wouldn't thave thought so? Anyone got the PC161's??

IIRC both allow direct connection to your PCs sound card via jack plugs, the only difference is that the P166 can also connect via USB since it has its own USB sound chip.

Personally I avoid USB sound chips and they tend to be of lower quality than whats in your PC.

Very much depends on what you wanna use them for and what PC sound card you have...
