Doesn't a fast hybrid defeat the whole point of it being a hybrid in the first place? (Admittedly not a very good one)

If they quadrupled the motor output but left the engine alone.... ? What did you think of it when you drove one? I thought it was great, mainly as it drives like it doesnt have a boat anchor under the bonnet.

Its basically refillable Nitrous on the CRZ. Just not much on the stock car. Of course they wont do that and instead up engine output, however if they do go for a turbo i cant really see it making much difference to the cruise MPG and urban will still benefit. Just needs a good engine, much like the Mini Cooper S R56 (turbo).

Spoon have been playing with one like Many tuners who displayed at SEMA. This is a Mugen product destined for the Honda showrooms though, just like the Mugen Civic Type R was (not the uber specced on)

I think the 911 RSR Hybrid and KERS in F1 have proved there is a point to it.

A fail-wheel-drive wanna-be-coupe that isn't that fast in the first place isn't necessarily the best place to start though :p
