Who's had some this year then?

We had a cup each yestersay shopping, there was a christmas market on :)

I'm just cooking up a small batch (couple of glasses worth) from a kit i recieved as a present last year, smells lovely :)

Seems to be a bit of an acquired taste, though!

:D

/P.S - if anyone knows of any good DIY recipes, please pop them in here!

I'm a complete addict (I think that's called alcoholism but never mind!), I barely drink the rest of the year round but just love, love, love mulled wine!

Tesco do a great mulled wine, it's only 2.99 (it was 0.99p last year!) and it's fab. Alternatively warm up a bottle of red and chuck some spices in. Chris is correct too, the Aldi one is very nice - they're all pretty much the same tbh. Oh and top tip, just after Christmas, the stores will all sell off their mulled wine spice kits - usually can pick up a few for under £1 and they last for ages.

Make it yourself, it tastes LOADS nicer than the ready made rubbish (like most things). Its easy to do unless you are complete retard and cannot follow instructions.

Same goes for eggnog.

We've gone through 2 or 3 bottles already this year. Lovely this time of year on a cold night :D

Mmmmm mulled wine. I used to feel it was heresy to do such things to wine. However I now loooove it. However I just use cheap plonk no point in using expensive wine. :)

Guys, how does this mulled wine stuff work? I hate wine, and have never heard of the Mulled type before. However I was given some as a gift and passed it onto my dad lol.

So I have to warm it up and then what? Let it cool or is it consumed whilst warm? :o

I don't know about the "kits" as I always make it from scratch, but yes you're supposed to have it warm. Perfect for a cold frosty day! :)
