Hope someone can help, I'm setting up my play area (mid life crisis) and want a good monitor to play games but to double up as a good TV/DVD player as well. Choosing a monitor just for computing/games is fine but not having used a monitor for a TV before what should I be looking for?
Is DVI connection OK or should I look at HD connections as these are now appearing on some monitors.

I will be looking at a 22"/24" widescreen.

Any recommendations/advice would be appreciated.

Streaky:confused:

+1 for the 2407WFP, im obviously biased though. You could plug a box into the back of it through one of the many connections. I use mine with the Xbox 360 @ 1080p its a great performer.

Also in the 24 arena, the Benq is meant to have good connections, cant comment on this as im not overly familiar with it.

22" options, LG have a a model here on OCUK which is reasonable price, also samsung are soon to be releasing a 22 with a tv tuner inbuilt (i believe - someone confirm?). Note that the tv tuner in the LG though is analog though.

Personally id do for the dell 24 add a tv tuner to your computer that can deliever you freeview or go straight from the free view box to the monitor, and switch between your computer, tv and console with ease..

QUICK QUESTION REGARDING ^^

Is that 1080p as is 1920x1200 resolution? or 1080p through component (or is it composite? i forget lol)? Is the 2407WFP able to do 1080p on component/composite?

Cheers pal.
