So the missus wants a tv in the bed room, no problem, but then I was thinking .... is it possible to use a pc for this task. Something along the lines of a micro system, which can be controlled by remote so she can use it for her music as well and also watching dvds etc. Must have a tv card to watch tv on it, or is there a sky/freeview card or simliar that can be used? We already have sky dish and cabling, might be getting the box at x-mas. Is this (linky) the best way with a compatible remote to do what I want? Or is there a better program for the job?
19" widescreen (already have a acer)
micro system case - comes with PSU
mobo
memory
CPU
GPU - onboard should have enough go to do the job?
Remote Control? ( Windows® Vista Media Center Remote Control and Receiver Package maybe?)
