Mum had sex with son

" It happened after the pair were watching a Disney film at home and talking about their pasts when Mark had a panic attack.

Until a few months ago, the pair had not seen each other for 15 years."

A disney film eh !! pretty raunchy stuff, and they hadnt seen each other for 15 years...well thats one way to welcome you back into the family I guess :)

Only if there's a good reason for them. Not that I particularly care if incest is legal or not, but I don't personally see why there needs to be a law against it.

To express the general disgust that society feels for such an act? As you say if someone is considering it the illegality of the act is unlikely to stop them but then again for the (laughable perhaps) idea of public morality the line must be drawn somewhere.

Hang on - 'another member of the family found out'. How? And why didn't they simply deny it?

Police: Did you sh*g your mom?

Mark: What do you think? Have you seen her?

Police: We've decided not to press charges.

Certainly the legality of incest is a philosophical one, after all wasen't against minors or not without consent.

o express the general disgust that society feels for such an act
Laws aren't in place to appeal to the general public, after all most people will find S&M, watersports and scat disgusting, but it's up to consenting adults, not the law. Isn't porn, masterbation, anal and oral sex forbidden in Utah? And homosexual sex in some countries.

I don't think they deserve to be in the papers or be jailed for what they did - which is going to be more tramutising than the act of sex by a mile (which I find disgusting btw) it's possible one or both might commit suicide since in the papers. Should have been without photographers tbh.

I agree there :) Although I totally disagree with incest and have no problem with it being illegal. Unlike S&M etc which I find pretty rank but not in the same sense as incest (e.g. i see no reason to make it illegal).

You don't think that there should be some rules in society ?

somone getting arrested over having a waz in the street is fine... but this really isnt anyone's buisness, nor does it effect anyone even in the slightest

edit: maybe i'm just too open minded...

:D LOL

Crikey, that's just totally wrong. He's never going to be able to avoid the fact he boinked his Mum, especially now his mug's all over the net. I'd high five his idiocy if I saw him :D

Just imagine getting 'pulled' by him, then realising who he was and what he did (I suppose there's little chance of this happening though, as he obviously only has eyes for munterish, overweight, middleage relatives).

I think you will find that laws represent public morality to a degree (your own examples show this) or it is to prevent/punish a harm caused to society. Now whether they should be decided/influenced by public morality is another issue entirely, groups of people are frequently morons while individually they might be quite intelligent.
