Mummy, how does Daddy clean his gun?

They're available Tefal, you just have to have valid reason to use them. Main reasons are heavy pigeon shooting or Practical Shotgun, those are the only reasons I know of for their use. Personally I prefer the simplicity of non-fed shotguns :).

I had to be a member of the UKPSA and have completed and passed the Practical Shotgun safety course before I'd get the section 1 shotguns.

Why not show us a video of you actually firing that gun???
Or is it so Mickey mouse and weak that it's pretty embarrassing?? :p (joke)

Haha. The man on the right has his gun on his foot for extra height and it's still tiny compared to his mates'.

Where can you shoot rifles like that, anyway?

Quite a few shooting ranges in Las Vegas where if your pockets are deep enough you can shoot pretty much anything. My mate just got back and did 60 rounds from an AK47 and a big tripod mounted machine gun which he said was practically unuseable the recoil was so hard!!! I think the lot cost him about $55.

They were shooting at Osama Bin Laden target faces :p

I used to own a Smith & Wesson 586 0.357 Magnum Revolver. Had all my NPA badges for Service and Police Pistol i.e. Mastershot etc. Had to give it all up after Dunblane though!!!! Used to reload my own too.

And here's me thinking you could only reload shotgun shells! Was it expensive/hard work?

Reloading is easy, common and a bit of an artform. Tweaking loads etc to suit is a lot of fun. I've helped a buddy but never bothered myself as I don't really shoot a high enough volume to make it worthwhile.

There's a good shooting range south of Cape Town - they cater for a range of customers, from corporate team building to leisure shooters to more professional types. They let customers shoot anything from a .22 to an assault rifle. The competition side of their outfit looked very professional and well set out.

It's a good few years since I was there but the staff were excellent, one an ex SASR and another a retired police firearms officer.
