Muppet coming through - SATA II question

I've got 2 x SATAII drives and fitted them to my LanParty Expert. The bios sees them OK but Bill Gates has got his welding goggles on. Not a sausage in Windows as far as visibility goes. Does this board do SATAII? If not aaaaarrrgghhhh....

I've just found out that this is OK, soory for falling at the first hurdle and asking for help....
Soo. If I can see them in the Bios, why dont they show up in windows ? The drives are Western Digital Caviar SE16 320GB 3200KS SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM (HD-070-WD)
Am I no doubt missing something obvious?

Go to start menu>right click on my computer>manage>

Under storage select disk management. Your disks should be in there but unformatted state, right click on them and select format.
