Musicians post your music!

This should be in music really as that's where most people post this sort of thing.

Clicky my sig for a link to our band website with some (almost a year old exact as of tommorow) recordings. We're still looking for a bassist and singer, so if you're in West Yorkshire/close and fancy joining a rock band then give us an email :D /plug.

Was going to get a bass guitar for christmas lol! Splashed out on Pc upgrades instead :D
I just do rhythm guitar, Acoustic guitar, Keyboard and I can play basic bass lines (not bad to say I dont actually have a bass guitar haha)
Ususally the recordings I do are of various genres, recently I've felt like doing heavy industrial music, or industrial metal.

edit: Sounds good! Sounds like rock with hard rock and acoustic elements

I don't know where this thread should belong, I believe the music and box office forum is for discussing mainstream music and films but meh!
Anyway I'm interested to see if anyone has any music to share that they've created!

This is one I did about 6 months ago or so:

Its like an electronic-ey rock sorta thing. Yeah, wierd.

Post some stuff guys! :)

Er...Permission to be completely honest in my criticism? ;)

A bit better :)

But the first one..It needs livening up. Get away from 4/4, lose the dull-as-dishwater drums and the clichéd to hell and back HAL samples.

The guitar has its moments but it plods a bit...Not really liking the Weezer ripoff riff either ;)

Repetition is rather...grating in both tracks though. That acoustic guitar in your second one was making me angry within eight bars.

All my music is sequenced digitally...It's very hard to get it to feel more organic but the payoff is immense.

You just need to work it a bit :)

For some reason it reminds me of a re-mixed We Will Rock You, no idea why though!

Nice guitar sound on the first one :)

Take note of what *n says, his musical appreciation is impeccable ;)

You have listened to a different song to him, I changed it :P
Its the beat that reminds you!

edit: There's an orchestral one here, If you can try to ignore the many timing issues! It was originally me messing about with my new software, I ended up saving it as a short track. It wasn't supposed to be a proper track!

Cheers. I know what you mean about the guitar tone. It sounds really good live. I don't know if it is just because it is mic'd then recorded digitally through cubase, but it looses all its punch :(

None of my own but a few friends have a band, they made this separate track under a different name for the summer just gone as sort of a joke, but it turned out pretty decent in my opinion. Much better than the stuff they made in their "real" band.

Remember though it was written as a joke :p
