I'm doing the bass on here.

Not guitar and wailing vocals? You're not who I thought you were

:EDIT:

Just saw the video in your first link. Forgive me for doubting your identity. The secret is safe with me

This is the only thing i have at the moment, a cover of Satch's - Rubina (live version) as interpreted by myself which i did for dmpooles guitar warrior thread. Ive been meaning to video it but i haven't been playing much recently and im getting rusty :(

Really impressed with starscream's music, nice :) . Really good vocals and tight timing. I know what you mean about the guitar, someone miked an amp at college; sounded great in the live room but sounded so scratchy and thin through the mic :( . Leaving a moderate space behind the amp is good and sometimes placing a rear mic helps with the low end (being carfeful of potential phase issues). Good songs too which is always highest priority to me (if I just feel like switching it off right away then I don't care that its very well played or recorded).

Liking Hickin's stuff too, though I don't think the recording complements it too well (I know, you said it was rushed). Get hold of the individual tracks and you could mix it at home, just wants limiter/compression on the vocal and more balancing of the levels generally :)

Hi guys,
Here's the band I play in - 'The Fall, The Rise'
www.myspace.com/thefalltherise

We have an album called 'Interlopers' coming out in the new year here in the UK.
Those 2 myspace songs are on said album. Be interested to see what people think as we've been waiting for ages to get released and we're dying to get out there and play!

heres a couple from my dad, like dmpoole, hes been singing just over 40 years

Just on my 36th year as a pub/club singer and still learning the trade.

Heres three I keep dredging out because its a long time since I recorded anything.
These are three songs I wanted my pub band to do but they pulled their noses up at them because they don't rock enough :(

Ever Fallen In love

Personal Jesus

Keep On Rockin In the Free World

And don't forget the OCUK Music Warriors link in my sig where you can hear a few OCUK talents.

hmmm.... going to put my compositions up and let you all giggle, will report back once ive figured out what the hell i do...

EDIT: im confused, do i have to pay to host my songs here ? as i cant seem to find any free options... in fact not much of anything seems to be free other than the listening to tracks, and a lot of them are reeeeeealy bad :(

Soundclick.com is free.

I'm not sure where your trying to host  . Soundclick as mentioned is good and of course myspace (though admittably it's kind of messy and I don't like how it compresses the mp3's so much once you upload them).
