But my point was not that religion is the only thing responsible, simply that it has been responsible for some ...

For me its all about similar state of mind - people who are under the spell of totalitarian ideology or those who seriously believe that "God" told someone that dogs are dirty animals, that they should never eat boiled eggs on Wednesdays, always wear sandals and stone to death those who dared to masturbate on Saturday afternoon instead of Monday morning like a prophet.

Faith - the one which is not sceptical, the one which is not questioning ancient rules - blind, mindless, stupid sheep like following of things which are more like Monthy Python comedy sketch than anything serious - this, for me, is some kind of psychological disorder or politics or both.

There could be other reasons too - Islam for example is extremely good if you are a bloke. I tend to think that its popularity is based on lack of self confidence of Muslim men and they are trying to do everything they can to preserve system which is giving them ultimate power over females.

Haha, Stalin was religious about one thing....Atheism. He was a self confessed Atheist, he believed that religion was the drug of the masses and spent an entire career attempting to wipe it out.

As far as I was aware, Hitler blamed the Jews for Germany's defeat in WWI, claimed the where conspiring with Russian Bolsheviks to take control of Germany and blamed them for Germany's decline throughout the twenties and early thirties.

Can you also tell me why the Nazis where against Catholicism when their leader, according to you, was an outspoken Catholic railing against the Jews for the murder of Christ??????

The Nazi's hated Catholicism because the Vatican spoke out against them in the late 1930's, the only organisation to publicly denounce the Nazi regime prior to WW2.

Hitler was very anti christian. Look at all the Christian martyrs from ww2 (maximillian kolbe etc)

Why ban links from the second most popular British newspaper with a circulation of over two million copies a day. I presume that you have never read it. Its stories are just as racist as you are. Why not ban you for coming across like a Nazi who wants to ban free speech because you don’t agree with what has been printed. Better still go back into the field with the rest of the internet sheep who only have two words in their vocabulary, “Daily Fail”.

I don’t see a racist agenda or scaremongering, I see a thread where is a lively and open discussion. We are after all allowed to express our views whether you like them or not. That is after all what an open, democratic society and GD is about. Why not join in constructively, you might learn something.
