MX1000 middle click starting to die?

Has anyone else experienced the middle click seemingly not responding unless pressed really hard? I've had my MX1000 for about 2 years but recently this has started happening.

Am I right in thinking this mouse is covered by a 3 year warranty? Do I just ring Logitech, and if so, whats the contact number please?

When i 1st got my mx1000 the middle click was not working properly, rang them up and they send me a replacement, same problem, i just gave up and determined its a badly built mouse :)

google + 30seconds of time = you could find the answer yourself maybe?

well ok i saved you the trouble, you do have a 3yr manufacturers warranty on an mx1000

Cheers, much appreciated.

I was assuming someone might have had previous experience with getting a replacement MX1000 and might have had a suggestion or two on the best way to go about it, hence the lazyness :)

I had this problem, didn't think it would be under warranty though. Was simple to fix, just open it up and put some electrical tape over the piece of plastic that hits the button when you click. Works good as new now :p
