Here she is with my 30D with grip, 24-70, 70-200 F4 and 18-55 Kit

It's a lovely camera, feels so natural and durable. Having 8.5fps on tap is great. Taking it out tomorrow to really give it a work out.

FAO Lightroom users. Does anyone know how to change the lens name, just the 1D MkII is reporting my lenses like:
24.0mm - 70.0mm
Instead of my 30D which reports it as:
EF 24mm-70mm F2.8 L USM.

Any ideas ?

Thanks

nice kit!
im looking forward to some of your shots
oh and i think your sig needs updating... unless you are ready for xmas 2008 :p

Nice collection. :) Now you just need something to sit under the 24-70mm, and something like a 200-400mm ;) Oh, and replace the f4 for a 2.8 while your at it.

Bargaintastic! The box and CDs are no loss - I only use the box to keep the CDs in ;)

Get yourself an Optech neckstrap though, the OEM one is a joke for a camera of that weight.

Good call on the neck strap... :) I could never go back to a Canon strap after using my Optech ones... Even with the Optech Reporter strap which i often hang both my 1dmkII and 5D bodies+lenses off I dont get a sore neck like i did with the awful Canon straps.

The 1D MkII is second hand. Very good condition for £1k just came without its box and CDs.

Have you checked it's not on the "missing" list? I always find it a little odd when a decent camera is sold without the box and CDs. That being said, I horde anything with any value, including boxes and manuals.

If you get bored with it, let me know and I'll gladly part with a fiver :p
