My 21st birthday...'special' present ideas?

It's creeping up on me a bit...parents are starting to ask whether i want something special for my 21st. So what did you get? Anything special? I was half thinking of something like a ring but dunno.

If all else fails, i'll just ask for random stuff...

Mine are paying for my flights to Mauritius. That's fair I think considering it's my brother's 18th the day before.

I didnt get anything special for mine, but a holiday or perhaps a festival would be a good idea as you get memories, rather than some trinket you may never look at again.

I got a watch for mine.

Rings are fairly common, big party is fine but you won't remember it later (if you're like me)
