Sorry to hear that mate! I remember when we lost our 2 year old boxer just as quickly it was devistating. It makes it even harder when they are young dogs.
That's the hardest part - they don't know. He was admitted to the vets first thing this morning (Thurs) then referred to a neurological centre within a couple of hrs. They've carried out all the tests inc an MRI scan.
They've offered a post mortem but we want the wee fella back in one piece. He stopped breathing soon after the scan and they couldn't bring him back.
We avoided king charles spaniels for this exact reason, they have unhealthly blood lines, and were created by lots of breeding through the same family, and most suffer from very poor health, and most have heart problems at young ages. We opted for a cocker spaniel, as they are more healthly in general.
