My first Bird of Prey shot (static)

Hi,

Been a while since I've put a shot up on this forum.

I finally got an opportunity to take some shots of a Lanner Falcon at a local village fete. I know it's not in flight, but I have to start somewhere and don't have the gear to take shots of birds in flight!

Anyway, here's my fave. Hope you like.

Wow... I really like this picture.

The feathers on it's chest (or is it breast?) look really awesome, and it's so sharp!

Amazing picture, the fine feathers under the beak are incredibly clear.

I should point out that the only processing done to the shot is a little work on the eye to brighten it a little, and my name in the bottom right hand corner. Otherwise it's as it was out of the camera.
