I've ditched my 182 track car, as much of a fun little car it is, there's just loads of little problems with it. So rather than pour more money into it, I decided to ***** a wedge of my house deposit savings on something a bit....well.....you decide.

Picked up a rear diffuser today, was a bugger to fit though!

I've had it just over a week, I've done a few bits to it. Mainly cosmetic things like restore the headlights, as they were looking a bit minging, stuff like that.

It's at stage 2 at the moment, so that means about 240-250bhp.

It's a VERY different animal to the Clio, still getting used to driving it (although it is physically easy to drive). Things like the power delivery, in other words the lag! The power was instant in the clio, being NA, but this takes a bit of getting used to.

I'll be leaving it alone mostly from now, 240bhp is plenty for me at the moment! I'll be looking to do my first track day in it soon I hope.

It's such a fun little car though, puts a smile on my face every time I get in it. I may have blown some of my house deposit on it, but what the hell, you only live once right!

I normally hate silver cars, but some manage to pull it off, this is one of them I think.

Just racking the miles up before the weather turns against me. Don't fancy driving this in any of the winters we've had in previous years!

If theres one thing driving games have to answer for is this stupid "stage x" malarkey, who's stage 2? That could mean anything.

lol, well if you know about VXs then you'll know what it means. Basically it's got the VXR Milltek exhaust and TMS (Thorney Motorsport) remap.

Stage 3 is a charge cooler/uprated intercooler

Stage 4 is the VXR turbo and update clutch, as well as other things. Good for almost 300bhp!

I'm not sure what tyres he had on, or what the road was like, but my experience of the NA was that it was ridiculously planted (albeit on Blistein suspension, proper geometry and R1Rs).

That diffuser is a little less obtrusive on black - beyond it's functional benefits, I think it looks rude.

It certainly is a rather difference experience to the Clio.
