Just bought myself a tomtom One for the merc. This is my first experience of sat nav and I'm really impressed. Went for this model due to generally great reviews and it seem to live up to them. Finds its position instantly, even indoors, and the screen is large and clear, with very clear voice instructions

Only thing I dont like is that it doesnt come with an indoor charger, just a car charger, so I cant mess about it with it in the house as its flat. Also I might looks at getting a dash mount rather than windscreen one as I notice it recommends removing the suction bracket every evening, which I'll soon get annoyed with I think.

I've bought it largely cos we are are driving to Spain in the summer, and I remember from my last visit that signage away from the big motorways is erratic at times! Apart from that though, it should be good for navigating the hundreds of roundabouts we ALWAYS get lost in when visiting family in milton keynes, and it might persuade me to attend more away football matches :)

I have one had it for about 7 months, get the speed camera software on there and i never knew there is a dashboard mount. I just got the indoor charger for £20 but even after a full charge it only lasts about an hour b4 it says its nearing low battery
