I never touched the switch, so if it is then ooops, but I'd assume its got something more to do with Crossfire configurations.

Currently running the spec in my sig on a Corsair HX520w, would like to upgrade the 5850 to a 6950, think it will be ok? Hopefully the 6950 wont need much more power than a 5850?

Just noticed prices are up and the HIS have come off of pre-order

Well I bought the 6950, going to OC to 6970 levels

Then maybe in 6 months I'll get a 2nd 6950

You'll be fine. My HX520 handled a highly overclocked 5870 and i7 without any problems.
