My Leadtek 7800 GT Extreme

Hi guys - just wondering if anyone else has one of these - its the slightly overclocked verison and is pretty swift imo - i get reults over 8000 in 3dMark05. Not bad for stock stuff.

I was just wondering where these ranked at the momment and what people opinions on the card where - im pretty happy with it - but some more techincally minded advice would be appreciated

They are still a decent single card. The main thing is if youre happy playing the games you do at the res you play, then the card is fine.

well currently i run all games at 1024 X 768 32 Bit and on full graphics. The ONLY game that the card CAN struggle on is Oblivion - but ive even got the graphics ramped up near to max in that and it still runs comparatively smoothly. All other games like Dawn of War, Rome, World of Warcraft, Call of Duty 2, Need for Speed Underground, Prey, Doom 3, HL2 Lost Coast Lord of the Rings Battle for Middle Earth 2 run flat out!!! hehe

Really i should get an SLI motherboard or somethin - just havent got the cash really lol

All cards have problems with Oblivion.

BTW i wouldnt recommend going SLI (especially if you have to buy new mobo). You would be better off selling your current card & buying something like the X1900XT (i think it offers more value for money - same performance less cost).
