My LX508D Pioneer Kuro Plasma went bang last night

My pioneer LX508D plasma went off with a huge bang last night which i think was caused by the PSU in it failing (It now flashing a 2 red light error code)
Am pretty pleased with how long it lasted But wish i of looked at how many hours it had done before it died..

Was really hoping to wait till next year for the Sony OLED's to get four 2.1 hdmi inputs instead of the two they have now, I may yet just pickup a cheap TV and wait

PDP-5090 was the Kuro.

Yes the LX508d was a Kuro..The LX508d was pioneer very first full HD 1920x1080 kuro plasma screen

Excellent tvs. Get it repaired anyway

Was amazing TV for many years but these days OLED screens really knock it for six with there jet blacks, HDR, 4K, 120hz gaming, Larger sizes, 4 hdmi inputs, being smart TV's etc etc which makes it a total waste of money repairing it.

5090 is 1080 I have one

My mistake , i was thinking of the older 508xd which was only 1365 x 768
