my macbook: does it support 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) Optimum Resolution?

just ordered the mini dvi to dvi adapter and a 24 inch monitor @ 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) Optimum Resolution.

Can my macbook out put this via dvi? what about vga?

Yes and yes, but that's the highest it will go (AFAIK because it's single-link DVI).

I have a Samsung 245B 24" with the dvi adapter it wouldn't allow me to set 1920x1200 (because it couldnt detect the monitor res). I had to force it using switchresX but thats not a free program.
