The first year or two we all started going out it was all about how many you could kop off with and that was almost all that mattered, you hardly ever turned down an opportunity.

After those first couple of years you get more picky to the point where it's entirely possible to pass on an opportunity because you can't be arsed rather than jump at the chance simply because it is there.

It's hardly anything to aspire to though is it?

We're now seeing the results of a breakdown of the family unit in society as a result of people like this, morals are all but spent to many and we're now seeing the outcome which i don't doubt will continue to get much worse if nothing is done about it.

Apart from two of his ex wifes, all his kids, grandkids and one ex wife live in or around my street. They are an extremely close family and I can honestly say that I've never heard of one of them being in trouble.

No idea, I've never asked him.

However, a drummer I sacked last year and only lives 100 yards away has also got 10+ houses which he rents out. He bought one at a time when they were derelict and did them up over time. Thinking about it the houses that Geoff bought in our street needed lots of work doing.

He's had kids by, what, 5 women, and left them in turn. That's not the best way to bring up kids.

At least 3 of the women left him for other men so why not attack them instead?
Personally after two wives have cheated behind your back I think he deserves the right not to marry again and to spread his love.

DMP: Interesting that the other women left. That sucks. I'd be hesitant to blame him as harshly as I did, though I'd be curious to know why they left. It sucks that people have kids in unstable relationships. There's crap parenting in there, but I was probably unfair to lay all the blame with him.

Leaving aside the original post about DMP's mate I have to have a laugh about some of you stating such things as "I'd rather have one wife than a string of lovers". So po-faced, yeah right, your wife is going to be the be all and end all - unless you're very lucky that won't be the case. Something like 75% of all husbands have at least some adulterous thoughts and some 10% act upon it (and no, don't ask me sources since this was discussed some time ago and I can't remember the exact source

).

Just don't be so sure that marrying the women you think you love will bring you the ultimate happiness in your life - it's not like that, you will think of others and will be tempted. Don't slate someone because they're tempted either.
