My New Audi TTS with a strange Twist

TTRS was way out of my budget, all though i could change my pop up spoiler
to the Static TTRS one at a hefty cost.
But i do love how the audi spoiler comes up and down like the porsche's.

The pop up one on your car is much nicer then a static one, it makes the lines of the car look much better.

18k is not bad at all but thats still 135i money which is a whole lot more engine for your money, but the TT just looks so nice (well I have a soft spot for the TT).

I hope you enjoy it, it looks liked it has been mapped to me, maybe try and ask the guy you bought it from. Or take another TTS for a test drive because the difference between a mapped TT and a stock one is night and day. I had my old 225 TTr mapped by revo and it changes the car completely.

Prefer the static one myself (albeit, slightly different to the RS spoiler). And more orange! :D

I believe that TTS in those pics had even more orange in the interior, vents etc. :o

Looks nice, although don't be too shocked at the power figures, these engines (like the S3) always seem to produce more than quoted on a dyno.

I went out in a mates the other evening, only as a passenger and it felt quite nippy and well sorted. DSG box is very clever if a little clinical but it seemed to pull very well and was a nice place to sit too.

its very easy to fiddle rr numbers
what were the wheel figures? wheel lb ft should be around 235 and hp should be around 222. if theyr nothing like that then its dodgy

So if i went to map it with a revo would it make very little difference ?
due to the fact its close to the results a revo would produce ?

These do produce a little over standard my sister's S3 with the same engine ran 289bhp. Remaps take them over 300bhp so I would be surprised if your's is remapped. Get someone with VAGCOM to log requested boost, I think 1.2bar is standard boost pressure, remaps increase this to 1.5-1.6bar.

That was certainly the experience of a lot of S3 owners when I had mine, I would imagine it's still the case now. There was quite a fuss kicked up about some of the engine maps circa 2008 or so.
