tbh i got smoked by one on a sliproad on off motorway roundabout. it was damp and i didnt give it full beans

but he could he just drove around the outside of me much faster while i worried about spinning off lol.

A friend of mine had a TTRS (now sold), he had it remapped and it was over 400bhp, the torque was immense, such a fun car to be in... sounded awesome too!

I think TTRS is coming down in a price a bit...saw one on pistonheads for less than £35k with not too many miles on it and a year or two old. As said the torque is over 600nm when remapped and feels amazing. Quite a rare car to see on the road as well. :cool:

I know someone who has gone way overboard with TTRS mods. Bigger turbo, all sorts...was near 10 second on the 1/4 mile and about 650+bhp. Fastest TT in uk apparently. :eek:

Not the green one I posted earlier is it? We've had it in at pipercross quite a number of times to develop the intake kit for the TTRS

Even thrashing my old Golf MKV GTi with the older 2.0T engine would get me a fair few more MPG than that.

Indeed, theTTS and TTRS are all great from standstill, they stick to the tarmac yet still provide a heap of power somehow.

I do like the TTS and TTRS, but would love an ABT TTRS

I get the same from my TTS all though my MKV GTI use to say 375 miles from full time to empty, but the TTS only says 250

well its ONLY ever driven around town in Prague but I do drive it very hard. I will check what i got to the last tank tomorrow.

The car is around 1.5 years old and it has only done 7000 miles but 99% of that has been done around town.

I literally died in those audi seats on a 30 minute journey to Southampton. They seemed really uncomfortable
