Unsuprisingly, I owned one.
Went on many blasts through Wales, did plenty of various runs and it never missed a beat. Proper solid car, and great fun to drive. Wasn't the last word in driver involvement, steering was a little too light and vague....but fantastic all the same.
They do hold their value well, because they're more of a premium hatch than the usual Corsa/C2 alternatives. Plus they were £13k new, plus options.
