My new dog [Hungarian Vizsla]

Just picked him up. His registered name is Roytan Dick Turpin but we've named him Kaiser. He's a Hungarian Vizsla which is a breed I've not long discovered but they're intelligent gundogs, loyal, energetic and fun.

Here he is, just 7 weeks old:

that last pic is really weird, front half of him looks like a proud s upperclass equivalent of a dog and the back half excited mongrel at the park

They grow to around the size of Dobermans. Females are considerably smaller and sometimes marked as a medium dog. Males are large.

The last photo is in bad light. The colour he is now is the colour of his mother. It's only when they're very old does the rich red colour start to brown.
