My new phone

It seems to be de rigeur to inform the community when one has a new phone that's a little extraordinary, so here's mine.

It's the one in the middle - a Mitac Mio A701 - between a Qtek 9000 and an Orange SPV C600, bith shown for size comparison.

The A701 is Windoze PPC smartphone and has built in GPS (Sirf III), tri-band, SDIO, BT. 1.3Mpixel camera. It doesn't have wifi or IR.

Typically costs less than £400 to buy sim-free.

If you go back to the source then their both HTC Universals with said companies wacking their own name on there.
