My new Silverstone Fortress FT03B ** Warning Picture Heavy **

I've gone with one of the new silverstone gold psu's and the short cable set for mine.

Parts will be 2500k, Asus P8P67-M Pro, GTX 580 (when i get RMA), 8GB XMS3, Xonar DX, 120GB vertex 2E, 2x1.5TB storage, Silverstone SST-ST75F-G Strider 750W, PP05 short cable set.

Can't wait to get it finished . :)

I originally wanted an FT02 for my build, but given I'd be wasting most of the drive bays and I just want a single graphics card and sound card... the 03 sure does look nice.

Excellent pics and very nice build there. Any chance of pics with the keyboards mouse etc all plugged in im just wondering how it works?, just pop through the back hole I guess?
 
A cracking build!! One which is tempting me away from my mini P180 case. One question... will a TRUE 120 cooler fit in the case?
 
Yes it will fit as the Venomous x fits fine and they are both the same height.

Let me just get this straight, the cables come out the top and just dangle down the sides right..? It just sounds daft to me and plain ugly.. completely against the great styling of the chassis.

Maybe I've got it wrong tho? Could someone confirm or clarify this?

Seriously though, more I see this case the more I want it. Looks perfect for simple but powerful build. I notice there's a bracket for a small fan on the top facing the GPU, that supposed to be an additional exhaust?

No that is for additional cooling on the GPU or GPU's :)
 
I've got a few questions, coming from an SG04 (and previously SG03) owner.

1. Is there direct contact between the right side panel and the hard drives? If so is there any noticable vibration?

2. What length sata cables do you recommend? (looks like a very short distance).

3. Any black cpu cooler recommendations (beside the venomous x) for an i5 750 at 3.2Ghz? Please no H50 or other similar things - I'm using an H50 in an SG04 at the moment, and part of the reason I'm looking to upgrade is to go purely back to air. Also no need for mammoths like the D14 or the silver arrow (also they're not black ;)) - I like to be able to get my hands in there afterwards if possible! :D
Particularly looking at the bequiet dark rock advanced, although that height is 167mm - the limit of this case apparently, plus I've read that the mounting system is bad.
