It's a 2001 Ford Focus Ghia 2.0.

Picked it up for a tad under £4000

I'm very pleased with how well it drives and has 51,000 on the clock.

Coming from a 1.2 Punto it is fast as **** :D

Hi Mate,

First of all nice car, looks in good nick!

Can I ask how old you are and how many no claims you have? I'm looking at making exactly the dame move as you, punto 1.2---->Ford Focus!

Ahh right i'm 18 with 0 ncb, My insurance would be rather pricey, how does it compare to the punto, obviously its faster is the handling a lot better?

Cheers

I'm 19 with 1 NCB on a 2002 Focus Zetec 1.6 and I'm paying about £1250 (monthly payments)

Not really thrown it around yet as I only got it yesterday. Seems like a barge compared to the Punto tho.

The Punto is a lot easier to throw around but it's just when you want to floor it there's a serious lack of power.

If you want both and cheap insurance i'd recommend the Punto 1.4 16v Sporting though someone might have a better suggestion than myself.

I'd rather pay a bit more for a well looked after vehicle, which this is. Plus it's top spec below the ST models ;)

And happy 5000th post.

WOW i spend too much time on this forums :)

Sound like you have a nice car that should last you for quite some time.

I bought a 2 year old fiesta back in 99 for 5k. My mum is still driving it now and it has no problems at all!
