The freeview tuner keeps totally loosing signal.

It total lost signal all last night for freeview and analogue, worked this morning and now doesn't work again at all.

Its going back to JL for a full refund under the distance of selling act.

oh well back to square one!

Are you certain it's the TV? Did/do you have such issues with another TV?

nope no issues with my trusty sammy lcd. Tried the old telly again, same socket, same cable all work fine. The telly doesn't, it found the channels again this morning, turned it on this afternoon and its lost analogue and digital again & wont tune them.

Anyway its all be refunded and returned so back to avforums to pick anonther, dunno if its wise to risk buying the same model again, I dont want to have to send it back again for the same fault.

Are there many reports of this issue on AVF? If not, I would buy another as everybody is unlucky with a faulty product once in a while.

I haven't found anything on google so I assume I have been super unlucky.

I loved the PQ on the set so think im gonna upgrade to a 42PX80 for £677, cant be bad!

I was just a tad angry when I wrote this post and was gearing up for a full on shouting competition with JL, I was pleasantly suprised that they dont empploy total muppets like other retail park outlets.

O noes failure.

Just return it for a replacement, certainly won't be a recurring fault in all sets, and is still the best value plasma out there.

Nowt wrong with the tvs, just seems like one with a cheeky fault. The ones I've seen in shops all seem to work fine.
