PC has the customizability, the upgradeability, the Graphics, the huge back catalogue of games and the fact that you CAN connect a controller to it should you want to, as some games (driving, tennis, arcadey) ARE better with a controller imo (not fps or rts games tho)...
However, Consoles are easier to use and can more realisticly be carted around or set up in the living room. Plus they generally just work with games without any troubleshooting needed.
My point is both have their strengths, though PCs are definately more powerful and anyone who says otherwise is clueless.
