Hi guys, this is my earlier thread about night shots - http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17842155

I played around for a bit and decided to use ISO200, 3 sec exp.
Heres the results, I havnt tampered with any pics, just resized them.

opinions welcome;

Aston Martins, Ferrari's and Bentleys soon to follow! (no joke - dealers 10 mins away, all cars parked outside and well lit )

Try and use the lowest ISO and if you can get your hand on a white balance card it will help as you wont get the yellow cast from the street lighting. alternatively shoot raw and adjust in ps.

Also try and work on the composition of the shots as to me just seems like a load of cars in a car lot.

Not trying to be negative jsut a little tips really.

Like 33L said, it just looks like a lot of cars in a car park. I think you said in your first post that people wanted you to take photos because you had a decent camera? If that's the case, tell them that the shots and there cars will better if they move them to an empty part of the car park. It's not much hassle and you'll both benefit.

Do that and work on some basic composition and you'll have some ok photos
