My Renault Sport Twingo CUP

needs lowered tbh can still see the tops of the tyres

only kidding personally i think its spot on, he's 19 spine breaking suspension is fine :)

Your car looks like it has broken suspension, far too low for me personally. I like to see some filled arches, but having the tyres go up into them just looks stupid.

Was up your neck of the woods yesterday, would love to work on the rigs up by Aberdeen. Looks amazing!

Are you offshore or on the rigs next to land?

I work a lot onshore in Norway doing Electrical service, Ive only had 2 trips offshore upto yet again just off Kristiansund, Norway. Its is great at 20 now but you find that you are waiting for a permit for everything and the days drag...but its all counteracted by the money tho :)

Wow guys the cars hardly used only to go to shows... but i know the older generation would not like it anyway. And also the coilovers have improved the handling tremendously, I have been on track at knockhill with Stock and the BC's and was seriously impressed at how much flatter and quicker i could take the corners (only on Conti Cont 3's) . But ill take all the critism and maybe heighten it a bit ...

I think it looked really smart before you lowered it, now it just looks like ever other corsa/clio/crap bag with cut springs scraping along the floor.

Also did it originally have HID's or are they aftermarket (illegal in 2012 mot) ones?

Doesn't have them anymore I have changed them back to Upgraded Stock bulbs,

Them pictures where taken before I sorned it for the winter in October.

And Thanks for all the comments guys , Its nicer to have a range of answers rather then people on the Twingo 133 forums being ever so biased Lol :p But one thing tho surely we are only young once..

:)

Out of interest what sort of economy do you get when hooning about and when driving sensibly?

20mpg when Hooning lol

30-35mpg if you drive sensibly, even on a longish run you struggle to get higher.

Dear me, you've wasted money ruining the car imo. Renault know what they're doing when making hothatches. :/

Should have just saved the money for something better.
Actually you'll find ive wasted relatively no money as being development meant that they made the kit for very little to me. As they make the money on sales of the product when its released. So thanks ...

First of all, yes its too low - but hell, its your car and if you like it, thats all that matters. However....

That doesn't mean its got better handling. Common misconception amongst the younger folk that the harder/flatter it is, the better the handling.

I can pretty much guarantee that unless you've had the spring rates, damping and geometry set up by repeated development work (which is what Renault did on the car on standard suspension) that it won't handle as well - this is obviously not the case as if it was set up properly they'd tell you not to put it that low :p

This isn't a dig - as I said, if you like it, thats all that matters.

BC Racing have been developing for the past 7 months changing spring rates untill we have settled for 7kg/mm front And 9kg/mm rear , geometry set up untill i was happy .look just because i am young doesnt mean i know nothing at all ... Which almost sounds what you are saying .
