Hi guys, got a really strange problem. I just built a new machine and installed windows 7 on it and its failing to boot. I just spent the last few evenings narrowing it down. So it boots into windows fine, until i remove the DVD SATA drive. It gets as far as the windows logo then resets. Just to confirm there is no disk in the drive, its just the empty drive. Any idea why this is, seems really odd to me

Any ideas of things to try would be great. I am at my whits end!
