Hi,

Currently have a logitech Wingman Formula GP and have the latest drivers for windows 7 32/64 bit.

Can configure using the logitech drivers ..but when I attempt to use for NFS undercover it just does not work ( if you do not touch the pedals it seems to want to accelerate and brake at the same time...if you press the brake down ..it auto accelerates)...

Now I appreciate that my steering wheel is a cheap one and it is older then old..but it worked ok on Windows XP..

So I need suggestions on alternatives ...do not want to spend too much money ( I don't play driving games all the time..although I do have NFS shift waiting to go on...but would like to complete undercover first)..

Have seen a sweex GA300 which looks ok...for 19 quid ..but could not find any reviews that related to windows 7..also seen a logitech for 70 quid ..but need to know that it gives more then 51 quids worth of worth ...

Help

Try launching the "game controllers" config in windows control panel, and selecting "combined pedals" (if it was not checked already).

Then go back into your game and configure the controls.

Have tried combining pedals and uncombining ( everything tested ok ), but in either case once i launch the game the game does not properly recognise the pedals ( think when combined it would not recognise the acelerator pedal)

I had the same wheel as you. When I switch to windows 7 I saw that it was no longer supported in the logitech windows 7 software. So instead of faffing about with it trying to find a solution I thought I would Use it as an excuse to get a new wheel. If you look around at competitors you can get a Driving Force GT for just over £60 delivered :)

Champion cheers guys.. I thought I may need to get a new one...although I used the excuse of a failed harddisk to build a new pc....this may mean that she gets wise to the "oh no this component has stopped working so I now need a shiney new one"...
:)

I have a Logitech Force Joystick, one of the first (and still the best built) FFB joysticks available.

Drivers work in Win7 32bit, but Logitech refuse to make it 64bit compatible, that may be your problem.

ok bought the sweex one and i like it ..this one was listed as working fine with 64 bit windows 7 and plugged in and NFS has no problems with it...the misses was fine with this also ( given her normal ability is hit everything that's some statement)
