Ace news, good luck with the recovery.
I convinced myself i was going to be needing surgery a few years back when my VERY LARGE friend jumped on my back subsequently collapsing on me to the floor with his full weight smashing down onto my lumbar region. Had shooting pains down left leg/foot very very badly for 4months, was off work for the first month. Had XRAY to make sure nowt was broken and it was all clear. It started to get me very very down, after 4months i said enough was enough and got back to playing footie. The first month back the pain was agony but i battled through it and today its fine. Get the very occasional and minor twinge but nothing serious.
