Have got 1144s paired with Ali-belled discs on my Elise and they are a HUGE improvement over the standard brakes. Fade (on the road) has been eliminated and pedal feel in vastly improved. They do squeal when they haven't been used for a while but a few stops from cough 60mph cough soon sorts that out

What are they like for dust? My standard pads are awful, my wheels are black within about 5 miles (although that could be due to my driving style, who knows?)

Dust seems to be OK. My car only gets washed once in a blue moon (i.e. when I can be bothered to take it to the Kosovans) and the wheels seem to stay clean for a while but I tend not to pay too much attention

all this was done to make way for my new mods which arrive next weekend, GT spec headers (will be wrapped), Garret turbo (undecided on model), custom up pipe with external wastegate (wanted one forever the noise is to die for!) , HKS front mount, 750 injectors and a second 255lph pump.

If you are looking at Garrett tubbies then a GT30171R would be worth looking at but it has a T3 fitment for the external wastegate version, dont know what the standard scooby fitment it. That should make 400bhp easily.
