myprotein liquid egg whites

Eggs & splash of milk.

I do 4 eggs about 50-75ml of milk. cook them for 80 seconds, out whisk. Another minute. Whisk and cook for a little more if they need it. The more milk you put in the longer they'll take. Salt & Papper and some lemon juice gives them some flavour too. Not too much salt though for your BP. I just eat them on their own with a little ketchup :)

No oats for breakfast for me have them with my shakes. Usually just chug some cereal down too.

I buy a box of 15 and usually polish them off before the weekend. Have 3 or 4 scrambled a day, maybe not on my day off.

But I love them :)

Tried the liquid egg whites and the taste is disgusting. The fact they go so frothy as well makes it 10x worse to drink :(

any chance of your diet please? along with timings.

seen your posts on here very impressive

I've posted it several times - it's not set in stone, and does vary depending on how my day or week has been!

Typically... this can vary

Brekkie:

Couple of mackerel fillets with a couple of eggs
Bowl of natural yoghurt, oats, banana and cinnamon

Or

Big smoothie (oats, 4xfruit, yoghurt, whole milk)

Or

Eggs (scrambled or omelette)
Small bowl of porridge

Meal 1:

Wholmeal or Seed/Cereal Pitta filled to bursting with a selection of spinach/eggs/ham/chicken/beef/tuna/cheese (non processed good quality stuff). Always have a salad/spinach green vegetables to hand.

Or

Left overs from the day before, chicken, pasta, stew etc....

Snack 1:

Nuts (100+g)
Fruit

Meal 2:

Same as meal 1, or jacket potato with filling of choice or pasta with filling.

Snack 2:
Fruit
Pineapple Cottage cheese with oats
Or
Peanut butter on oatcakes

Pre work out:

Coffee
Banana

Dinner:

Fish, or lean meat of some kind
300g+ Steamed veggies

Pre-bed snack:

Cottage cheese
Nuts
Yoghurt
etc...

Nothing particularly fancy or complicated. It just depends on what I cook in the week, and what my week is looking like. Each "meal" is around 600 cals with the exception for breakfast which tends to be closer to 800.. Daily I'm over 3k cals - but I'm just training hard so don't really need much less/more.

Breakfast: 100 eggs
Snack 1: Whole Lamb
Lunch: Whole horse
Snack 2: Whole Cow
Dinner: Whole Bull
Evening snack: Whole Ox
Pre-bed: 3 Chickens.

Off season diet, ya'kno ;)

Mines not too dissimilar from yours FF. Gotta start planning my cutting diet for January

Up normally around 6am so breakfast as soon as my morning ablutions are done!

Then eat when I'm hungry! Depending on how busy I am or how my body is behaving it can be anything between 2-4hrs, sometimes longer. It really does depend.

I'm in bed between 10-11pm.

I'm taking it around 180g or so of protein per day - I used to be very prescriptive about all my macros, but I'm quite in tune with how my body works now so if I feel the need for more carbs, I do, if I feel hungry I eat. I know roughly how much energy my body needs and how mcuh more I need to give it.

I do like my carbs too, but eat good ones - I like to have energy! :)

Think i need to increase my carbs, did a heavy session on Monday and i've been tired since, got training tonight as well as i have to stay late tomorrow night due to an Awards Evening. Probably buy some MyProtein Oats and have a scoop of them with my meals throughout the day except in the evening.

I hate my blood sugar getting too low - though I do experiement with carb cycling too, and it does make a significant effect on performance for me. People are too quick to dismiss carbs for some reason...

The only 'direct' carbs I'll eat is two pitta's throught the day as part of my sandwiches, any vegetables I'll eat with the evening meal which is usually around 300-350grams and then 2 scoops of oats with my shakes.

Every couple of days I might have a jacket potato with dinner or some new potatoes or the evening meal will be pasta based.

Anymore carbs than that and I hold loaaaads of water and bloat a little.

Ditto - hence why I keep them complex, but time them well in terms of training and with what I eat them with. :)

Yup.

I'm not quite sure if I require a slightly higher amount to grow so have a couple of weeks where I have more carbs with the evening meal and then have a few were I go slightly lower than before to drop the water.

Looking foward to my next cut actually. Going to be difficult as I'm sat at my desk all day thinking about food as it is!

The egg whites from MP have the Avidin removed IIRC.
The Avidin apparently blocks the uptake of a certain % of the protein plus as mentioned guaranteed no salmonella

Avidin is easily removed - just run the egg under a hot tap for a minute is more than enough to destroy the avidin IIRC.

FYI - adivin binds with biotin and makes this B vitamin unavailable for your body to process - which is not good! :)

I am so torn about whether to get the myprotein egg whites

it says 32 egg whites per bottle (1 litre bottle)

THIRTY TWO? I don't think I could get through 32 in 2-3 days because that is the life of the bottle once opened.

£24 for 6 litres (6 X 1 Litre bottles)

That means for every bottle (32 egg whites) it costs £4 - surely that is pretty good value for money.

I'm going to hold off buying these for now though it is just TOO MUCH for 2-3 days
