I want

- A Smart Phone that i can put on extra applications
- A memory card slot that i can put a 2GB card int, minimum
- A good camera, WITH FLASH
- Ability to take decent videos.
- Something smaller thjan my nokia 6630

Now is the N80 the best for that, or is there another alternative, OR is there another phone COMING OUT soon (next month)

Thanks

Wait for tne N93.

SPV M600? if you can get your hands on one I would have that over the n80 anyday. Mate had one and no matter how impressive the screen it didn't make up for the fact it was slow and the camera wasn't anything special.

Or better still wait for the p990i ;), takes up to a 8gb mem stick pro duo card. I have a 4gb one at the moment.
It meets most of your requirements, the camera has a flash and is a 2mp camera...in fact in tests it wiped the floor with the n93;). Also takes pretty good videos but the n93 is better in that respect.
Size wise it is big, bigger than the 6630 but its not that big tbh. I find it thinner than my p800/900/910 phones but it is wider though. Usually have it in my back pocket and its pretty unobtrusive...have to keep checking its still there now and again :p.

Have had mine for nearly a week, mind you its sim free...not yet out on networks but absolutely love it to pieces and wouldnt be without it even with the few bugs it has. But most bugs have been sorted out by a firmware update the other day.

You could try the N73. It's got a much better camera than the N80 but lacks WiFi.

sorry its off topic but does the p990i have a jack connector for the headphones still?

No it doesnt, as far as i know none of the p-series phones had a jack connector on them.

the p900 and p910i had jack sockets (never had a p800 tho) but they were smaller than the standard 3.5mm headphone jack sockets.
What I was trying to get at was does the p990 have the same style of socket or do the headphones attach with a similar connector as the k800i?

Ahhh ok i know what your on about, thought u meant the 3.5mm jack. No the p990i doesnt have that type of connector as far as i can see. The headphones/charger all use one port which uses one type of connection exactly like the k800i.

yes, but the N73 has a zeiss lens, 3.2MP with autofocus
the N80 and N70 do not

The zeiss lens makes basically sod all difference, take the N90 for example. Autofocus is the feature that matters. Anyway my post was clearly nothing to do with the N73 so not quite sure why you're making a point of mentioning it. I was comparing N80 to N70.
