N95 Camera

Hey guys.

Don't have a camera and use the phone for any snaps I need.

But they always turn out crap.

Is it my crap skills or can they be improved?

It's a phone camera, don't expect miracles! Have you had a play around witht he settings at all? There's not too many on ther,e so just tweak it and see how the shots turn out.

maybe clean the lense, it looks a bit foggy, also it looks ut of focus, make sure the green box is green before taking a picture. A cameraphone certainly isnt a replacement for a camera as Richdog mentioned!

Yeah I know it isn't a replacment, just sometimes it takes amazing pics.

Like this it seems out of focus.

Yeah it did have the green box around before snapping.

works bestin good lighting, but can work really well in dark too, ive just upgraded the firmware on mine to v20.xxx from 12.xxx. not sure if the camera will have imporved though. will let you know later after my night out on the lash!

I did the same as I was gettin green lines on pictures with low lighting and the camera is better and quicker too, well worth updating the firmware.

Honestly, in a cloudy/misty day like that, you'll struggle with a SLR.

In good light, it's not that bad.

Still won't use it as my main camera thou.

It was quite a nice day, hmm ill try again and try and get a bit better light.

Mine works fine in most lighting conditions.
