I can get the N95 for free or the N95 8GB for 250

Both are locked to three...so I'll be using their PAYG

The N95 is second hand (few months old) the N95 8GB is brand new.
 
Well...are they worth it? I'll be paying back the cost monthly as it's from my sister - I could do with cutting the contract...but if the battery of the N95 is poor then I will get the 8gb.
 
I'd go for the N95 8Gb without doubt over the N95; it has a bigger screen, pretty much full flash support (full youtube), 8gb memory, a far better build quality and it looks so much better. They are both good phones tho.

Mind you if I had the choice of free over £250, I'd probably go for free! (But I love my N95 8Gb)

Would the free n95 be a good deal? I may go for that. It is slightly used though.
 
£250 seems a little too much of a premium for the 8GB - you could pick them up for £360 and £460 sim-free respectively.

If you're buying a new contract (I can't tell from your original post), here are some tips:

- You can get £30 each for you and a friend already on three if you give their phone number when you order.
- If you're ordering online, go via Quidco for roughly £50 cashback.
- Again, if you're buying online, ask the online sales people about voucher codes. You almost always get a £20 gift voucher for their accessories store.
