Im racking my brains (ive got more than one) trying to remember the names of two tv programs i remember from my childhood.

1st Program - Was on in the evenings and basically was a teacher with all stereotype foreign exchange students from many different countries. It was a comedy.

2nd Program - I watched tiswas as a kid and when i pushed the button on the telly to BBC2 (i think) when the adverts were on there was this art program where it showed you speeded up versions of the pictures people were painting and there was some cheesy music on whilst they were showing this. I cant really say much more than this.

So come on you over 35's . . . name those programs ! :D

1st one was "Mind Your Language" I think

The students that were in it seemed to pop up all over the place, ironically enough always playing sterotypes...I bet for most of them their entire career was based on playing the type they were in that program

Talking of 80s programs I vaigley remember a cartoon series that was history based i think, each program was set in a different time period, opening sequence was a boy and maybe a girl flying through space towards the earth with classical music in the background. I think it exsisted might have been a dream. Any one remember this?

No idea, but a look around the toonopedia may help?

If you don't recognise it from the title it's probably not it - and I remember that it was on on Sunday mornings so it doesn't tally with Tiswas

IT IS IT! Painting along with nancy!

Yes, it was sunday mornings, my mistake (it was a long time ago )

I went to a site and played the theme tune and its def this one.

Thanks all for help
