I saw something on the BBC just now about "Flybmi" (airliner) going into administration. I spot spelling errors on the Beeb all the time so I thought they meant Flybe as I've never heard of Flybmi before. So Flybe and Flybmi are both airline operators.
If you go to Trademarkia, you can see numerous lawsuits from big organisations because of copycat companies. Sometimes they'll blatantly rip the organisation's font e.g. the Disney font or they'll make a derivative name e.g. Parrots of the Caribbean.

And lots more. Just use the search box on there. So do you think that these following examples are too similar?
Sheryl Crow and Cheryl Cole - pop singers
Bryan Adams and Ryan Adams - pop singers
Snorkack and Snorlax - one's from Harry Potter, the other from Pokémon, fictional creatures
Ryannair and Lion Air - another airline example
YourView and YouView - TV streaming services
Hungry Horse and Hungry House - pubs/takeaway
Home and HomePod - voice activated speakers
Doctor Strangelove and Doctor Strange - films (might just be coincidence, unfortunate)
The last 3 might also just be unfortunate, but I always misread one for the other:
Thomson and TUI - travel operators
Gov't and Gove - political
Donald Trump and Donald Tusk - presidents
