we've just bought an audio system which really needs a NAS UPnP server to stream the music from. Was originally going to get a Seagate BlackArmor 220 with 2 x 2TB drives but reviews suggest it's not a particularly good performer.
Having searched this forum, I have opted for a Synology DS211J with 2 x 1.5TB Seagate drives in Raid 1.
Drives are OEM so no cables supplied. Does anyone know what length and type of cables I need to connect it all together?
I've checked everywhere I can think of but I can't find any images of the inside of the DS211J so I can't see whether straight/right-angled data connectors would be best, nor what type of power cables are required.
Getting rather irritated and I'd like to get this ordered early tomorrow so any help would be much appreciated.
