That means building a base and mining technology on the Moon it will take centuries and God knows how much money, its not going to happen in our lifetime. We've been to the moon whats the point in going back unless we have solid plans to settle?

i doubt we will ever be able to colonise the moon. like you said how would you tansport all the equipment.
