Evening gentlemen,
I've been the proud owner of a Pacifica112 (recommended from these forums IIRC) for some time now, but decided it was time to upgrade, so I recently got a mexican "Nashville" Telecaster, basically a deluxe telecaster with an additional strat pickup. its a really really gorgeous guitar, but it seems to buzz A LOT through the amp.
The weird thing is, the buzz is worst when im not touching any metal parts (strings, volume knob, etc), making it seem like it isnt grounded properly. even when I "ground" it, the buzz is still pretty bad, far far worse than the Pacifica was. Is this normal for telecasters, and what should I do about it?
many thanks
