Need a bit of insurance advice

I'm with NUD atm and shall explain the situation....

Basically, when setting up the insurance I tried to put the gf on the policy but as she was under 25 the cost was astronomical, so I started playing with the quote and noticed that it was a hell of a lot cheaper to have a gf/partner on the policy which was over 25 than none at all...

..So I kept my gf on it but with her DOB a year out making her 25, she was never going to drive the car anyway (and if she did she was 3rd party from her insurer) I didn't see much harm in this as I could have easily just invented a partner to put on the policy anyway.

So my question: Now she's 25 I want her to be on the policy properly, trouble is if I phone up NUD and say 'sorry my gf DOB is wrong' and I change it, are they going to try and charge me for the extra money I should have paid (which is A LOT!)?

I would phone up but I have kinda shot myself in the foot....I can't phone up, ask to change it and when if they want to charge me more money, say I was only joking or something....not sure they would buy that :)

Just do it online, Remove her from the policy, then the next week put her back on with correct DOB.

Apart from that NUD suck and I'll never be using them again.
You can't alter named drivers online, least you couldn't last time I checked, will have another look.

Trouble is if I remove her (to put her back on later with right details) they could charge me again anyway....spose I could make up a different fake named driver than change back at a later date....but that seems like taking the mick to me and my get me in trouble again.

I'll probably end up leaving it, I don't care if she doesn't drive it, it was only her bugging me to be on the insurance now that she is taking more interest cars.

Thanks for the help guys.

Phoned to remove her and it would cost me £60, and I'm wondering if I would see that money again if I added another partner??......I didn't like to ask (or change current details) as the lady on the phone sounded quite suss as it was when I didn't actually remove the partner/spouse.

I have 5 months on my policy and I'm not exactly jumping at the chance of my gf driving my pride and joy so I'll probably just leave it now.

Thanks for the help tho guys.
