Need a cheap GFX card for 1920x1080 gaming

Hey guys,
After like 5 yrs, I recently started games on my pc again (blame the cheap deals on steam

) which is quite fun. So anyways i need a better GFX card that handles all/most games at 1080p as my current one (in sig) just doesnt cut it any more.

I'm willing to spend £100-150. The hd5770 has got my eye atm, are there any games it cant handle at 1080p? I dont need 100+ fps even 30+ will do. Also are there any other cards worth having a look at?

5770 or 4890 will do just fine.
The difference will be with 4890 being a bit stronger but without dx11 and less scalability in CF.

I'd go with 5770 tho as the difference is not that big.

wait till march for the fermi come out and get a cheap deal for gtx 200 series
or radean 5800 series

5770 is happily gaming at 1920x1080 for me. Decent card for the price.

5770 +1 i game at 1920x1200 and get decent fps, 60 in fallout maxed out iirc, and can always add another in CF at a later date.

If you decide you want an nvidia card the Gtx 260 is a good choice.
