need software firewall that wont slow pc down loads

any reccomendations

If you're using XP then the Windows Firewall is more than enough.

ive been using zonealarm for couple of years now, very happy with it. The latest version does use quite a lot of resource tho.

I heard the xp firewall was not great,

may give zonealarm a blast its only for a couple weeks till my router comes back

nothing wrong with the xp firewall. you only really need a 3rd party solution if you want to controll outbound traffic, otherwise xp can do almost all of it.

and zonealarm definately is not the best lol. sygate is very good though.
